CWSA JAPAN is the National Organization of CWSA in Japan. We build the conditions for competition here and connect them to the world stage.
Our Role
What we do as the national body
Building a clear pathway from local series to national events, and developing multilingual resources for athletes and judges.
Growing the sport in Japan
Widening the chances to compete step by step, from local events through to a nationwide series.
Competition standards
Establishing event operations in Japan that follow CWSA rules, divisions and judging standards.
Athlete support
Explaining the WRS, event entry and the route to the World Championship accurately in Japanese, so that taking on the challenge is less daunting.
Judge development
Training judges to CWSA standards in Japan, so that scoring stays consistent and events stay credible.
Support for event organizers
Working with organizers from the sanctioning application through event operations to publishing results on time, raising the quality of events together.
Partnerships
Working with sponsors and partners who back the growth of the sport, to build a base that can sustain it.
Within CWSA, each country's National Organization connects grassroots events to the World Ranking System. CWSA JAPAN works as one of them, keeping everything we do in Japan aligned with CWSA rules, divisions and judging standards.
